| LIFE'S A JOURNEY NOT A DESTINATION |
I was reading a post on my schoolmate's Facebook page the other day and she mused as to why we didn't get all the wisdom when we were younger. Interestingly, as I drove to the office the next day I got this "Ah ha moment" and thought I would post this said topic in response to +Sonia Mundle Smith's lament. By the time I got to the office and settled in, as I was having a conversation with a colleague and I responded, "there is a reason life is called a journey, we do not get all our knowledge or "wake up" at the same time". So I thought I would do this topic instead of just do a status comment on her post.
This is a fascinating topic because once you start to thinking about it the more you can see and understand perceptively. We did not chose our parents neither what country or circumstance we were born into. +Michael Lee-Chin famously speak to this as he share his story of growing up in humble circumstances to becoming a billionaire and owing the very bank that in earlier days in Jamaica would discriminate against hiring folks with his skin hue and social situation.
So here is the thing them - suppose we just accept that we do not have the answer to the "why" but stay in your lane as it were and fulfill the destiny you were created for? What if we really learn to accept each person and respect their journey, knowing that we never have all the answers and mistakes will be part of the experience. What if we just retain that child-like curiosity about life and just soak up all the knowledge we can? If we are able to do this even a small percentage of the time life will become less stressful and more fun!
Have a fun day and be curious as a kitten today!
